Note 11-25-03: The first stage tag has been replaced but not moved. It is a blue metal dog tag and should be easy to find and hard to remove!
This is a two part multi-stage cache. The first part is a dog collar tag at the coordinates above. The tag has the final coordinates for the cache, an army ammo box. The "Wild Horse Creek Trail" is a trip though a wetland area. (If there have been heavy rains, the cache will not be accessible. The trail may be underwater!)
If you continue down the trail past the cache site there is a two level observation deck. If you are a bird watcher I recommend bringing your binoculars. On clear days, you may see hawks flying overhead at any point on the trail. Rabbits live around here too. We saw one of the biggest rabbits we have ever seen cross the trail ahead of us. I recommend this trip for the whole family, which is why I created this family oriented Cache. Lots of fun things to choose from including stationary cards, games, and Coca-Cola goodies.
Bring a fun & games item to trade, keep the theme going and happy Geocaching.
Park only in paved designated areas, Cache in and trash out!
This is a wetland area. Please be kind to it.
