Paradise Valley is a registered nature reserve owned by Ethekwini municipality. Over the years the reserve grew from 25 to 170 hectare, now encompassing land well down the Umbilo valley past the Pinetown sewage works.
It is home to all sorts of game - bushbuck, blue duiker, water mongoose, slender mongoose, and numerous bats. It was even visited by a very famous hippopotamus, featured in GC1F5Y6. (visit link)
The reserve is criss-crossed with trails and has a large picnic site.
The cache container is a magnetic nano, please bring your own pen.
