Easy to locate, about 200 feet from pavement.
This cache is placed at the center of a 1.7 mile radius circle encompassing the epicenters of 29 earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater that shook this area during October 2009. And don't forget to check out the view of Owens Valley and Owens Dry Lake framed by the High Sierras and Inyo Mountains on either side.
Cache contents include take-home charts of the earthquakes—help yourself.
