Geocache Description:

[ENG] On the first Saturday of December 2009 geocachers are welcome for a whole day of fun in a country farm near Orfu. This is the fourth of a series of events having been organized since 2007 - previously published only on geocaching.hu. But this time - we go international :-))

Only a few kilometres north from Pécs, the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2010, there is a country farm specialized in horse tourism. With its slightly undulating surroundings covered with a mosaic of pasture and forest Orfu-Lipoc seemed an obvious choice of location for our regular winter meeting, which - for the first time ever - goes international. Spend your whole day with fellow-cachers from all around Hungary having gc-fun: trek around Orfu and Abaliget seeking hidden plastic bottles, or help your kids find little bags filled with presents by Santa Claus the way real cachers do: navigate to waypoints :-). All facilities of Rácz Tanya Panzió are available for participants, including darts, squash, snooker. Boarding: geo-gulash, a dish of hot, rich soup (HUF 800) or á la carte in the restaurant. Accomodation: moderately priced rooms in the pension near-by or in the surrounding villages. Registration fee of HUF 500 per person is to be payed on-site. 2009. december 5. szombat Orfu-Lipóc. A hagyományos Mikulás-környéki regionális találkozónak (ismertebb nevén: DDRKT) az eddigi nomád helyszínek után ezúttal az összkomfortos Rácz Tanya ad otthont. Hiába, mi is öregszünk... :-D Azért arra ne számíts, hogy teljesen elkényelmesedtünk: a versenyhez erosen ajánlott kamásli és túracipo használata... További infó és jelentkezés: itt.
