A creature cache
for the young ones!
I
have several longer,
more difficult caches in this awesome preserve and wanted to do
something that would encourage those with little kids to come out
and hunt. So, if you want an easy Sonoluminous cache to do with
kids ... this is the one.
This "friendly
critter" was created by my family late last year and I am only now
getting around to putting it out. FTF, STF and TTF each get a
scratch off.
Also, while you
are in the area - keep your eyes open for wiley coyote. There was
quite a bit of scat around when I placed this.

carefully and exactly as you found it! Please be certain to re-seal
the container so it snaps shut.
As an added bonus
- if you bring kids along and are not prepared to walk the
2-3 hours needed to complete the Lost Protykus series ... you
can make this a creature double feature.
In the back of the
log book of this cache I have written down the coords for the final
stage of the Lost Protykus series. Obviously, for those of sound
body and spirit - I would prefer that you complete the entire
story/ series, but for those with kids - or who are not up to
walking the entire 4-5 miles of Protykus, you now have an option to
visit her. Remember to be nice to her if you choose this option as
she can be quite fierce. As with this cache, Protykus
is fragile. Please put her back carefully and exactly as you
found it!
