Approach along the coast (Don't try to come through the Farm, there is no public access that way). Walk from either Greenodd (easiest), from Holker Hall (Old Park Wood) or through Roudsea Wood via the Powder House. T
Nice circular walk from Greenodd, round the point continuing to the Powder House and back through Roudsea Woods. You can do the walk in all but the very highest of tides..
