Please do not go into this place of business at the posted coordinates, they will have NO idea what you are talking about. In fact, you may hurt their feelings if you go in and ask about it so please don't. This cache is outside, you know, where REAL football is meant to be played!
Ok, before the puzzle starts, I needed to share the following: Not being from Minnesota originally it took me a while to figure out what my first cache should be about. Puzzle caches aren't everyone's favorite, but I figured if I did one on something the locals like and made it not too difficult - more people would go for it (and I wouldn't get in as much trouble for putting it in a park). So in talking with some locals over the years, they always seem to be talking about Vikings. Depending on the week it was good or bad, but they always seemed to be talking about them. One thing I did learn being here was that HCMC (Hennepin County Medical Center), which is across the street from the Metrodome, is (and has been for decades) #1 in the world for treating lower leg injuries because all of the Vikings fans they treat who are constantly jumping on and off the bandwagon.
On a more serious note. This cache is a tribute to the Vikings/Packers rivalry. It's all for good natured fun and ribbing, so (while not a requirement) I'd love to hear any family friendly Packer/Vi-queen jokes, stories, bets gone awry in the log (& feel free email me the non-family friendly ones! ;). I've 'enjoyed' the Dairyland Diaries, Gerbschmidt, etc from you misguided Helgas, I just wanted to give something back. Who knows maybe at the end of this year I'll have to find a mini-Bud Grant trophy to put in it... errr, wait, the Superbowl trophy isn't called that is it ;). But just remember even if you do win the whole thing this year, I don't think Favre has 12 more years in him to get you more Superbowl/World Championships than the Pack. The idea for this cache came to me when SI picked the Vikings to win the Superbowl at the start of the 2008 season - finally getting around to placing it now.
Anyway, on to the puzzle (while I've rated this puzzle 1.5 stars that's for your average cacher - for your typical Vikings fans it will be much tougher! ;) ):
