Geocache Description:

Ardlethan is a small township on the Newell Highway. At the entry to the town from West Wylong, Temora direction there are 2 signs to let you know where you are. In one of these signs there is a micro-cache with log only to find. You will need to use your own pencil. Please replace as found. Painted to blend in with the structure

Ardlethan lays claim as the birth place of the Australian Kelpie. These dogs are partly descended from Dingos.
The first litter was born on Warrock Station near Casterton in Victoria.
There are several types of kelpies including Gleeson's, King's, Barb and Red Cloud Kelpie.
The Kelpie can be found in several different colours and these are Black, Chocolate, Red, SmokeBlue, Fawn, Black and Tan, Red and Tan.
As well as being used to herd live stock animals. Cattle, sheep and goats These versatile dogs are being trained as scent dogs, tracking and rescue work.
