La Torre BancSabadell és un dels primers edificis de gran alçada de Barcelona i que configura el skyline de la ciutat.
Té 23 plantes i va ser construït entre els anys 1966 i 1969. És un projecte dels arquitectes Mitjans i Balcells. Està inspirat en l’arquitectura contemporània italiana, i més en concret en l’edifici Pirelli de Milà.
Inicialment s’anomenava Edifici Atlántico i des del 2004 té el nom actual de Torre BancSabadell.

The Tower BancSabadell is one of the first buildings of Barcelona of high elevation.
It has 23 floors and was built between 1966 and 1969. It was planned by the architects Mitjans and Balcells, inspired by the Italian contemporary architecture, to be more specific, on The Pirelli Building of Milan.
Initially it was known as “The Atlántico Building” and since 2004 is known as Tower BancSabadell.
