Geocache Description:

This cache is meant to give Les Forges its first cache, and to stimulate your visit to this 150 inhabitants little town, but with a serious 27 holes golf course.

27 Octobre 2010: we replaced the cache at a new spot since the old spot was demolished.

Above cache details are perfect to park your car. That's where you find the water well (La Source). The final location is N 46° 32.433 W 000° 01.864

This cache is meant to show you the pretty small village 'Les Forges'. Les Forges does not have shops, nor a restaurant or a cafe otherwise than the Gof course's club house. Les Forges has a very nice castle (visit link) to be seen from this spot, a school, which is not in use, and a mayor, Daniel Brunet, who will be in charge untill 2014.
WIth 10.61 km2 and 146 inhabitants the population grew enourmously (20%) since the 123 inhabitants in 2006. People think that the outrageous popularity of living in Les Forges has something to do with the golfcourse (visit link)
