FIN Highway 4-sarja on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti helpottamaan matkailijoiden geokätköilyä heidän ajaessaan Suomen nelostietä pitkin.
[ENG]FIN Highway 4-series is meant to ease tourist’s geocaching while driving along the Finnish Highway 4.
Tällä nelostien levähdyspaikalla sijaitsi kesägrilli Vuornoskukko. Kesällä 2012 näyttää valitettavasti olevan edelleen suljettu. Aika on ajanut ohi tällaisten paikkojen ja suuret ketjut täyttävät matkalaisten vatsat.
Sommertimes there was a famous fast food kiosk called Vuornoskukko near this rest-stop. Unfortunatelly in the summer 2012 it seems to be closed. Perhaps forever.
Monster – Aileen Wuornos on yhdysvaltalainen elokuva, joka kertoo prostituoidun/sarjamurhaajan Aileen Wuornoksen elämästä. Vuonna 2002 teloitetun ja seitsemän miestä tappanutta Wuornosta näyttelee eteläafrikkalainen Charlize Theron. Hänen lesborakastajaansa näyttelee Christina Ricci. In January 1991, Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute in her late 20's, admitted to the murders of seven men, each picked up on a Florida highway, which was her usual venue. Some months later, after pleading no contest to the murders, Ms. Wuornos was sentenced to six life sentences, though she had been tried for only one of the murders.
The press and especially the television tabloid shows had a field day with the story about what they called "the man-hating murderer," apparently because Ms. Wuornos was an admitted lesbian. It was Tyria Moore, her lover, who tricked Ms. Wuornos into a confession during a telephone call monitored by the police. One immediate result of all this public interest: "Overkill," the television feature in which Jean Smart played Ms. Wuornos.
Now Nick Broomfield, an English film maker, has made a fine documentary feature that examines not only the Wuornos story but also the entire phenomenon surrounding it. "Aileen Wuornos: The Selling of a Serial Killer" doesn't have the personal swagger of Michael Moore's "Roger and Me," but it is that film's equal in all other ways.

There is a small horror film festivat in Ii, the three-day festival is held yearly close to Halloween. The programme typically consists of about 10 feature films (including a silent horror classic with live accompaniment), a competition for short horror films, a closing club night with live performers and varying special programme. In existence since the year 2002, IIK!! enjoys strong cult popularity with a yearly attendance of about 1,100.

Jos haluat, voit tehdä oman FIN Highway 4 kätkön. Nimeä se FIN Highway 4-”kätköpaikan nimi” ja siinä se. Varmista että kätkön vieressä on P-alue enintään 250 metriä nelostiestä ja kätkö sijaitsee enintään 250 metriä P-paikasta. P-paikan pitää olla riittävän suuri; auto + asuntovaunu yhdistelmälle. Kätkön pitäisi olla normaali ja normaalin kokoinen, max 2 tähden kätkö. Informatiivinen vihje on aina paikallaan. Käännä kätkötiedote niin monelle kielelle kuin vain pystyt.
Tavoitteena on siis Suomen pisin kätkösarja helppoja ns. 15 minuutin kätköjä matkailijoiden piristykseksi aina Utsjoelta Hankoon. Kopioi tämä "[FIN: HALUATKO OSALLISTUA]" teksti kätkötiedotteen loppuun.
Kätkön tekeminen ei ole edellytys tämän kätkön loggaamiselle.
