L'Abbaye de Corrupt est une abbaye pour femmes fondée en 1150 par le chevalier Hugues d'Illoud.
Peu à peu délaissée, l'abbaye est transformée en Ermitage au XVIème siècle. Il fut vendu à la révolution puis les bâtiment tombèrent petit à petit en ruines.
Depuis 1986, les bénévoles de l'association "les amis de Corrupt" on entrepris la réhabilitation de l'édifice.
ENGLISH VERSION
The Corrupt Abbey is an abbey for women founded in 1150 by the Knight Hugues d’Illoud.
Little by little abondoned, the abbey became an hermitage in the 16th century. Then, it was sold during the Revolution and the buildings falled in ruins.
Since 1986, the volunteers of the association “the Friends of Corrupt” have been rebuilding the edifice.
