Charles Lymen turned some of the land he had purchased at the Point into a military camp for high school years in the years before World War I. During the seven-year existence of his camp, Lyman’s Camp Wissolohican, more than 150 boys attended the camp. Lymen began carving the names of the campers into a Totem Stone, which can still be seen today along the trail point.
The terrian rating is based on using the upper parking lot. If the lower lot is used the terrain rating would be 4.
Cache contains notebook, pencil, and rubber stamp. The cache will not be located more than 100 feet from the trail.
