Geocache Description:

Hekkla has no more than 60 residents, it’s not considered a community – it’s a hamlet. It is recognized as the first Icelandic settlement in Canada, with Icelanders first homesteading in Hekkla in 1873. The hamlet’s cemetery was founded in 1896 and has the only tombstone inscribed in Icelandic, east of the Manitoba border. The name Hekla, is a stratovolcano located in the south of Iceland with a height of 1,491 metres (4,892 ft). Hekla is Iceland's most active volcano; over 20 eruptions have occurred in and around the volcano since 874. During the Middle Ages, Icelanders called the volcano the "Gateway to Hell." As close a translation as I can find, Hekkla means " To bless". Look for a small container that only has room for a log and a coin or two. Muggles should not be too much of a problem here.
