[ENG] Be careful, there could be some tourists or pillagers. More effective at night.
[ENG] In 1957 Marciena was the dislocation place for rocketbase
with stationary and movable run plants. The chemist
and constructor parts were located in the forest in 2 km
distance from the town. The officers lived in the town.
The Soviet army left Marciena in 1993 and all buildings
were handed over to the self-government. Due to the lack of
money means the self-government could not sufficiently take
care of the territory, the result of what was that the territory
was vandalized, the buildings were partially demolished and
the railway dismantled.
The buildings and infrastructure in the town was
adapted to the present needs and are now utilized.
The military base attracts many visitors from post
Soviet Union that were directly or indirectly connected with
this base.
Well hidden termoss, please, be very careful when searching and put back exactly the same place and way!
