Geocache Description:

Walk about 0.30mi. east from parking. This is a nice level walk on the Larkin Bridle Trail.Parking is at N 41 28.4867 W 073 06.9964.

NOTE: This is now a Memorial cache ...... On April 3, 2012 we lost our beloved Amber, for whom this cache is named, to a very agressive cancer which gave us no warning and took her in 2 days. The LBT was her favorite place to walk, and we loved bringing her here.

The Larkin Bridle Trail runs from Southbury to Naugatuck. Cache is a 4x3 camo lock and lock on the section between Riggs St. and Towantic Hill Rd. Contents include pencil and sharpener, fuzzy mouse, flashlight, flag pin and log. Easy find but last 10 ft. are a bit on the steep side, have good shoes as well as bug spray in warm weather. Last 10ft may have a 2.5 terrain rating. May be difficult to find in the winter. Enjoy, this is a beautiful walk in the fall. Bring your dog. We see many as well as horses and deer.
