On both sides of Bällstaviken and Bällstaån, around Bällsta Bro, there used to be an abundance of factories and other
industrial sites.
The last few years many of the older constructions have been torn down, and new modern apartment buildings are being built instead.
At least two of the old buildings have been kept this far: "Elverket" near
GC1YGQZ,
and the old factory building at the coordinates above, close to
GC1JYV6.
The factory at the start coordinates was built in 1899. Although it was initially built to process leather (by
tanning), it was converted in 1905 to produce a totally different type of products.
The most famous one that was actually manufactured here is the key to finding the cache.
Let X be that product, and calculate the final coordinates according to this formula:
N 59º 21.(X/7+69)' E 017º 57.(X/7-213)'
Some facts about X:
- It's the original.
- It's tattooed on Frank-N-Furter's leg in the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" from 1975. (Not to be confused with the "Boss" tattoo on his shoulder).
- It's traditionally used by some oldschool programmers to indicate an arbitrary large, indeterminate but specific, number.
The cache is a nano, hidden in a spot along Bällstaån (rather close to a few other caches) from where you can still observe both industrial and residential buildings.
