Just outside Gondrin in Gers, France. The cache is located next to a former railway track that now is a hiking path. You can start your hike at the pool in Gondrin where parking is available. There are two suggested hikes, a 6.5 km loop and a 11.5 km loop. Both are passing the cache. The path is marked with yewllow markers (Jaune PR1 or Jaune PR2).
The cache is a small size clear plastic food container.
It is placed next to a marked hiking path. At the cache location the path is following the way of a railway that has been removed years ago. But you still will notice that this must have been a railway track.
Gondrin is a nice little village in the south-west of France in the middle of the Armagnac vineyards. You can stay on a nice little campground run by a friendly Dutch couple. It is worth to stay some days and enjoy the calm and relaxing athmosphere.
You can visit vineries close by and taste the vine and armagnac of the region.
