Pilsdrupas atrodas Trikatas pilskalna, kas pacelas 30 m virs tuveja ezera limena. Domajams, ka Livonijas ordena pils 14.gs. celta latgalu pilskalna. Iespejams, ta nopostita Ziemelu kara laika. Ar Trikatas pilskalnu tiek saistita ari senas Beverinas pils atrašanas vieta.

[ENG] Medieval Livonian Order Castle was built on the ancient Latgallian hillfort in the 14th century. Mighty Trikata Castle was destroyed during the great Northern War.
Trikata Hillfort lies 30 m over local lake level. Supposedly 14th century Medieval Castle of Livinian Order was built on the ancient Latgallian forthill. Legends mention this hillfort as a possible place for legendary ancient Beverina Castle.
Be carefully in the castle ruins!
