Welcome to
B & O Railroad! Another one in our set of Favorites-O-Poly!!
Really this one doesn’t have a “Favorites” to it, unless you count
in the love of history by Scott, Christy hates
history.,
Oh to
think back on my wonderful school days. I really loved math. So to
bring back some memories for all of us I thought that I would just
throw this one into our bunch! The difficulty rating is based on
the puzzle, cache would be a 1.5!
At the very same moment, two trains leave
Missoula, MT and Portland, OR, via Seattle, WA.
YES, on 2 different
tracks!
They travel towards each other maintaining
constant speeds. The cargo train from Missoula is moving at speed
of 27.5 miles per hour. With the passenger train from Portland
moving at speed of 69.75 miles per hour. The distance between
Missoula and Portland is 653.2 miles. The track switch that takes
place in Seattle, of which the train is not moving, takes exactly 6
minutes and 27 seconds. Where will these 2 trains cross paths to
mark the cache location?
