The male Northern Oriole (commonly known as the Baltimore Oriole)
is flame-orange and jet black. The female has an olive-brown back
and an orange-yellow chest. The Northern Oriole has a strong beak,
which it uses almost like hands, and likes to perch on tree
branches. It is known for its cheerful song,
"hew-li-hew-li."
