A series of caches in this relatively quiet area of South Lakeland. On the way around you may see rocky outcrops, gorse, sheepfolds, springs, damsons and plenty of sheep! There are also great views towards the Lakeland hills as you walk. This also takes you along part of the Dales Way, which runs for 84 miles from Ilkley, West Yorkshire to the shores of Lake Windermere.
From Spikes Island' follow the footpath, over a wooden bridge and past the sheepfold up towards the farm buildings. Cache adopted by MrsPuffin in August 2020. The cache is a small cliplock box.
