Nella zona tra Gattico e Comignago, poco distante dalla strada statale che collega i due comuni, si può trovare un masso erratico di serpentino verde derivato dall'ultima glaciazione Wurmiana.
Questi massi, dei quali è ricca la zona, erano considerati sacri nell'antichità.
Oltre alle numerose coppelle spesso presenti, si ritiene che queste pietre fossero meta di donne che andavano a strofinarsi contro il ventre per favorire la fertilità.
Dal tentativo della chiesa di contrastare questi culti ed usanze sembra derivi il nome del masso: in una antica mappa questa località è citata come "Malo Loco", ossia "luogo malvagio".
Il cache è un contenitore tupperware nascosto ai piedi del masso.
Conviene parcheggiare l'auto al waypoint parking ed avventurarsi a piedi per i sentieri del bosco.
Seguendo il GPS è facile arrivarci.
Con una mountan-bike si può arrivare sino al masso.

In the area between Gattico and Comignago, just off the road that connects the two towns, you can find a rock of green serpentine derived from the last Wurm glaciation.
These rocks, which abound in the area, were considered sacred in ancient times.
