Geocache Description:

A handicap accessable cache on the trail in Canal Lock 10 Park.

Today my husband, hairball45 and I "conquered" the "rugged" trail leading from Zanesville's Y Bridge to the Muskingum River Lock Number 10. He walked, and I rode in my new power wheelchair. We had the wonderful experience of watching a boat lock through, all of the functions of the lock operation handled by one man using the same exact technology that was used in the 19th Century, that is, all hand powered. While we were there, I placed a cache from my chair, so I think it is safe to call this one handicap accessable. The trail does have a couple of rough spots, and I did have to work a little to get by them, but it is quite doable.

Don't forget to bring a pen with you.
