Geocache Description:

SideTracked caches are intended to provide a quick “Cache and Dash” at train stations.

Thames Ditton station serves Thames Ditton in the Elmbridge district of Surrey, England. It is the only intermediate station on the Hampton Court branch. It is operated by South West Trains and, for the purposes of fare charging, is in Travelcard Zone 6. The station buildings are above street level; the main buildings are on the London-bound side.

The co-ordinates take you to the station entrance. Within 50 metres, and without entering railway property, you will be able to cast your eyes around and find the answers to these clues. In each case, identify the digits.

Clue 1: Watch and pray: two dates, one difference. This gives you A and B.

Clue 2: High or mighty, it is your choice. But only one will give you C and D and nothing more.

Clue 3: Take a stroll underneath the arches and find a big, green box. This gives you E and F.

The cache can be found at N 51 23.(A+E) D (F+2) W 000 20.(C+E-D) (E+F) B. The container is small, magnetic, metallic and disguised as something else that looks like it belongs, but an engineer would realise that it serves no purpose. Please bring a pen, and replace the container carefully in the same position.
