Geocache Description:


Opened in 1898 nairn viaduct is the longest in scotland.Built using bullfaced red dressed rubble and tooled ashlar dressings.Each round headed arch ring measures fifty feet,except that crossing the river which measures one hundred feet.The south end has a lovely slow curve in order to align approach with hillside.Viaduct measures 1800 feet (549m) in all. This is a nano cache please bring a pencil.Happy hunting,Ujax and joel.
