Seconde cache de la trilogie Druelloise. Cette fois, nous vous proposons de découvrir un charmant pont qui enjambe l’Aveyron.
Second cache of the Druelle’s trilogy, the cache is located in an old bridge under the Aveyron River.
Vous pouvez aussi vous rendre au point intermédiaire suivant : N44°21.225 E002°26.865 afin de faire les caches Pont de Comencau et Eglise de Saint Clément, en randonnée en empruntant un sentier ombragé agréable. (Environ 1h15 aller/retour)
Les moulins de Combacau, Ayssens, Cassanhou, St Clément comptaient aux XIIIème siècle parmi les tenanciers de la Grange d'YS dépendant de Bonnecombe. Les Mirabel étaient seigneurs de Moyrazès. Ils abandonnèrent la seigneurie aux Evêques de RODEZ, au cours du XIIIème siècle. La charte communale de Moyrazès, accordée par l'évêque Viviain de Boyer, est de 1274. En 1341, l'évêque Gilbert de Cantobre fit reconstruire l'ancien château féodal de Moyrazès sur des plans inspirés de ceux de Muret de Palmas. Du XIVème siècle à leur installation à Salles-Curan, les évêques de Rodez font de Moyrazès leur résidence d'été. Ils aménagèrent la route qui, depuis Rodez mène à Moyrazès, se poursuit sur La Mothe et Albi – (lo camin Rodanes) – Ils font construire le pont sur l'Aveyron, qui sera doublé en 1458, par celui de Combacau. Le pont de Combacau a donc été construit en 1458, sous l'épiscopat de Bertrand de Châlençon (évêque de 1458 à 1501)

The mills of Combacau, Ayssens, Cassanhou, St Clement had the XIIIth century among the owners of the Grange of YS dependent Bonnecombe. Mirabel were the lords of Moyrazès. They abandoned the Lord to the bishops of Rodez, in the thirteenth century. The communal Moyrazès charter granted by the Bishop of Viviain Boyer is 1274. In 1341, Bishop Gilbert Cantobre to fit rebuilds the old castle of Moyrazès on plans based on those of Muret de Palmas. From the fourteenth century to their installation in Salles-Curan, the bishops of Rodez Moyrazès make their summer home. They constructed the road that leads from Rodez to Moyrazès, continues on La Mothe and Albi - (“lo camin Rodan”) - They built the bridge over the Aveyron, which will be doubled in 1458, by “Combacau”. Combacau bridge was constructed in 1458 under the episcopate of Bertrand de Chalencon (bishop from 1458 to 1501)
