Geocache Description:

Viena iš sovietiniu zenitines artilerijos baziu netoli Jonavos. Apleista ir stipriai nuniokota, bet vistiek idomi ir butina aplankyti kiekvienam besidominciam militarizmo paveldu, bunkeriais visokiais ir t.t.

Baze rasti nežinantiems nera lengva, nes panašu, kad po šiai dienai nei ji pati, nei keliai vedantys i ja nera žymimi žemelapiuose.

Bendrines važiavimo nuorodos butu (geriausia matosi MapQuest žemelapyje, o Google`ui tai vis dar super slapta zona be keliu :) Iš kelio Kaunas - Jonava (A6) išsukama 26-ajame kilometre i dešine ir žvyrkeliu pro sodu bendrija važiuojama iki geležinkelio pervažos. Pervažiavus pervaža už 100 m Y sankryžoje sukama i dešine. Už gero puskilometrio prasideda bazes prieigos, betonuotas kelias, matosi pirmieji statiniu likuciai. Važiuojama dar apie 500 m ir pagrindinis kelias ryškiai, beveik 90 laipsniu kampu, sukasi i dešine. Nuo cia pradekite skaiciuoti betoninius kelio atsišakojimus i kaire. Maždaug nuvažiavus dar apie kilometra (viso apie 2 km nuo geležinkelio pervažos) Jums reikia pasukti ketvirtame atsišakojime i kaire ir tada jau nebesunku atrinkti objekta pagal koordinates. Slaptavietes ieškokite ant objekto, kitame jo gale.

Patekimas prie lobio šiek tiek komplikuotas ir gali buti pavojingas, tad rekomenduotina aukštiems ir stipriems vyrams arba buti bent dviese, nebijoti šiek tiek susitepti ir buti akyliems, kad neikristi i kokia skyle... Taciau labai pergyventi irgi nereikia - nei kazkokios spec irangos nei igudziu nereikia :) Tiesiog nerekomenduotina vaikams, zmonems su negalia ar nakti ;)

Pats lobis tai 1.5 ltr talpos plastikine dežute ideta i juoda šiukšliu maiša. Joje ivairus kariniai suvenyrai - pora antsiuvu, iš kuriu vienas retas sovietinis, kitas irgi jau nebenaudojams lietuviškas, todel abu domina kolekcionierius ;) Dar signalines raketos tuta, amerikietiško tanko modeliukas, šviecianti chemine lazdele, raktu pakabukas su karinio dalinio simbolika, degtukai, pora AAA elementu jei kam pritruktu prožektoriui ir t.t. Apsilankymu loginimui yra kariška užrašu knygute ir pieštukas. Prašau pagal galimybes išlaikyti šios dežutes military pakraipa - apsikeisti kažkokiais panašiais kariškais suvenyrais, simbolika ir pan.

One of soviet flak base next to Jonava. It is derelicted and quite badly wasted but still is exciting to visit for those who are interested in military heritage.

It is not so easy to find a way to the base so there is basic references: Take road Kaunas – Jonava (A6). On 26th kilometre take turn to the right. Gravel road will lead you through garden community. Cross the railways and after 100 m take turn to the right. Driving straight on the main gravel road after about 1 km you will see how it clearly turns about 90 degrees to the right. From this place start counting road branches to the left. After 1 km (so it is about 2 km from the railway) you will find the 4th branch to the left, take it and this is the place where you should follow coordinates. Cache is hidden on the top and at the end of the military object.

It was not so easy to find the object so do not think that it will be easy to get to the cache as well. It might be risky – please be sharp-eyed not to fall into the hall or sth! So if you are not a tall and strong man it is recommended to be double and be ready to get a little bit dirty.

The treasure is a 1,5 l plastic box enclosed into the black plastic bag. Inside you will find various military souvenirs – couple flashes that might be interesting for collector (one is an old Sovietic!), a shell of the flare, a small American tank model, light stick, key pendant with military unit attribute, matches, couple AAA batteries etc. As well you will find military note book for logging in and a pencil. If possible I would ask to keep this treasure with a military sense – let's exchange some army souvenirs, attributes etc.
