Geocache Description:

Not at posted coordinates

Do not go to the posted coordinates unless you have a boat.

But even if you get there it will not be of much use.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TurdleEggs FOR THE FTF

And a Dr. Who fan as well.

Yes Tom Baker does rule.

However I do like David Tennant as the 21st century Doctor.

The TARDIS wanted to play. Unfortunately when the TARDIS plays it can get a little difficult as you see it's a time machine and therefore likes to twist relative dimensions of space and time. For this to happen the TARDIS uses irrational numbers to calculate a natural path to a position in both space and time. This process allows the TARDIS to exist in not only several places at one time, but also the same place in multiple times, in doing so time and space paradoxes are prevented. This is because the use of these types of numbers have values that cannot be expressed exactly as a fraction m/n, where m and n are integers. Consequently, its decimal representation never ends or repeats. Thus the TARDIS can allow the existence between two time points as there are an infinite number of possibilities between say 3 and 4. Numbers such as these are also a transcendental number, which implies, among other things, that no finite sequence of algebraic operations on integers (powers, roots, sums, etc.) can be equal to its value.

There are times, however when it's logarithmic functions can be altered as in the case when the MASTER took over my TARDIS by removing the logarithmic nature of the time vortex he made a paradox machine out of it. Fortunately this is not the case under this scenario.

Within the heart of the TARDIS lives the Bad Wolf Entity that possesses both destructive and creative powers and has an enormous influence over time and space. This entity has affected the location of the cache and provided the coordinates of the cache in the following format.

ACTUAL LOCATION

N57.23649429247 degrees 48.07865520567 minutes 52.65757474907 seconds

W109.89406904154 degrees 67.53906326511 minutes 17.39989426491 seconds

This cache is camoed with the words BAD WOLF and has a blue lid. The Chameleon Circuit attempted to camouflage the cache, however it is still faulty and therefore the lid remains blue.

To solve this mystery and to find the Mark of the Bad Wolf (FTF reward) you may want to go to one or both of these locations The hints are there if you care to look. One of these coordinates contains the longitude of the the cache. The TARDIS has it's way of correcting the Bad Wolf, but it will be left up to you to break the code and find the cache. One of these coordinates is near a nice little cache (not the Doctors) Good Luck.

N50 42 54.7 W96 59 27.2

and / or

N50 38 2.4 W96 59 15.2

With these posted coordinates you will receive a hint of what time is all about and by seeing this instrument, you will be able to find an irrational number you will use to solve this natural phenomena.

You should be looking at using a scientific calculator for this one
