Geocache Description:

I, perpulady, adopted this cache on August 20, 2017, the day after Going Ape 2017. Here is the original story of the cache, as told by Moose the dog:

My name is Moose, and I'm a blind black labrador mix. This is the story of how I tried to take my owner out while on the return trip from GCD.

First off, my owner and I would like to thank Kittcom 911, Kittitas County Search and Rescue, Upper Kittitas County Medic One, Kittitas County Sheriff's Office, and Overlake Hospital for making it possible for my master to feed me again.

It all started out so well. Grizwests and Douglas_Clan decided to grab the GCD cache. Grizwests Sr. loaded me into the truck with a full dish of food, and my leash. This was going to be a great trek for me out into the woods. I love outings like this because I get to use all my senses except for sight. The walk in was fun and uneventful, even with the 2 human pups.

The humans went and found some silly piece of Tupperware out in the woods. They then did some yelling and jumping up and down. I'm sure it looked silly. I decided this would be a good time for a nap. I found some shade and tried to grab some zzzz's. Of course the humans wanted more Tupperware, because one never seems to be enough. I chew them up regularly, and I can't seem to find the attraction.

On the way back down, one of the human pups was talking to my master. They were discussing how my master had never broken a bone before. About 5 minutes later, I decided that I was going to take the lead. Apparently the silly human didn't realize this. As I squeezed between his legs, I guess he tripped. Good thing that dogs have 4 legs. You humans could learn a thing or two from us.

The other humans gasped as my master imitated a stunt man. Someone said it reminded them of Lee Majors in the old TV show Fall Guy.

The following Snap, Crackle and Pop were not breakfast. Imagine my surprise when I didn't get a spoonful or two. I didn't even get to lick the milk out of the bowl. He broke his ankle and his leg. At least he did it well.

My master decided he was going to lay down in the middle of the trail after this. Some of the other humans tried to help him feel better. I heard one of them say "Suck it up Princess", but it didn't help.

Some human got a hold of the Sheriff's Office and had a whole lot of dedicated people come and pick my human up. They gave him a drink, but no bones. (Editorial Note->>> Human Search and Rescue Teams need to carry dog treats) After a while, they carried my human out to a quad. You humans are learning that 4 is better than 2. The quad took my human back to the car, where there was a whole bunch more humans. There were also some vehicles with bright flashy lights. Of course, I walked all the way. I sucked it up.

The humans in the big white truck loaded my human into the truck. It made me a little worried. I know about the dog catcher, but the human catcher? I don't get it.

We drove for a while until we got to the vet. There was NO way I was going in there. Last time I did, I left neutered. They were not getting any more of me.

The vet fixed my human pretty well. I'm really fortunate to have a great guy like this and I would hate for him not to feed me. Time for a nap.

On to the hide. This spot is just below where my human had his accident. Your looking for some Tupperware that has some 911, First Aid, and Preparedness type swag. I put some bones in, but then I went back and ate them. Sorry.
