This is an easy cache which you can do whilst waiting for the ferry from Armadale on Skye to Mallaig on the mainland. Allow at least 20 mins to get there and back.
Park in the car park by the Ferry Terminal at 57°03.859'N, 5°53.697'W, and walk up the path past the organics stall following the signs to the Otter Hide (a lot of the signs are quite faded).
The path is defined but is narrow and not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs as it can be quite muddy when it has been wet. There are some swings and things for kids to play on en route.
The cache is close to what is described as an Otter Hide. If you are lucky you will see an Otter, but you are very likely to see seals on the islands just off the shore.
