Peruskätkö ulkoilureitin varrella / Basic cache along a hiking trail.
Useat tietää Kurikan vanhan vesitornin (rakennettu 1951), joka sijaitsee Sarbergin mäellä Museon vieressä, mutta kuinka monelle on tuttu "uusi" vesitorni, joka puolestaan sijaitsee Kettukallion huipulla, Ketunlenkki nimisen ulkoilureitin varrella. Tämän kätkön myötä voit tutustua tuohon Ketunlenkkiin ja samalla logata kätkön vesitornilta. Jos Ketunlenkki (n. 5km) ei nappaa, pääse perille myös autolla Jyräntieltä nousevaa tietä pitkin. Tornin rakenteet ja/tai sen päällä oleva masto tuntuu hieman häiritsevän GPS-laitteiden toimintaa.
Most of us knows the old water tower of Kurikka (built on 1951). It is located on the hill of Sarberg beside the Museum. But do you know the "new" tower, which is in the top of Kettukallio along the Ketunlenkki hiking trail. By logging this cache you can now check out the tower and hike along the Ketunlenkki. If you are not on the mood of Ketunlenkki (about 5km) you can also drive to the tower by car from Jyräntie. For some reason the tower building and/or the mast on top of it makes some mistakes on the handheld GPS equipments.
