I may have over stated this but the St Helens Canal (or Sankey
Navigation was "In water" two years before the Bridgewater Canal
and built to transport essentially coal. It was hugely responsible
for the growth of my home town, St Helens.
As you have progressed through the series you may have found 6
other caches, thanks if you have.
You could have parked at the suggested location for Blackbrook
Basin behind the Ship Inn on Blackbrook Road (see the waypoint for
parking) or chosen a closer location.
This cache can be accessed over water or land and is NOT EASY.
This area WILL get overgrown and can seen from higher ground on
both sides so PLEASE be aware of
muggles
Sights to see whilst on this stretch; All that is really visible
is some parts of the original Canal Edging Stonework and the
remnant of a large Dry Dock!
This container is a mid sized click lock tub that can hold
swaps, TB's and Coins. It is starting out with a TB that was
resident before the type change. Let's see who gets it first.
