Geocache Description:


During the Second World War several aircraft crashed in this area bombers, fighters German, Allies and British one at Loch Head, one at Loch Enoch and one in Loch Doon. The Doon valley is one of the main routes from the town and farm lands of Ayrshire into the Southern uplands. Loch Doon is the largest inland Loch in Southern Scotland
