My grandmother used to say, “I don’t care what you give me, as long as it’s in a Birks Box.”
A gift in a Birks Box always symbolized class and dignity. The irony was that the store carried gifts to suit all budgets. BB’s were always hoarded and used just in case we wanted to dress up a Zellers purchase or gag gift. The BB in this cache is at least 20 years old and has been used on many such occasions.
Please help yourself to any item from the either the cache or Birks Box, but please leave the BB in the cache, as it is the “Theme piece”.
If the BB is missing, please note it in your online log. I will then have to shop at Birks in order to get a replacement.
This is a lovely, peaceful location. Enjoy the view and the sounds. FTF prize is in the logbook.
