Geocache Description:

You're looking for a medium-sized, painted lock 'n lock just off a quaint little lane lined with trees in the Ministik Bird Sanctuary.

Roll up (and that's an invitation)
Roll up, roll up for the Ministik tour!
The Magical Ministik Tour is waiting to take you away.
Waiting to take you away!

Ministik Bird Santuary: it's off the beaten path and with its wide expanses of open, wavy, grassy fields penned in by equally wavy glades of forest and bush acting like "shores" for the seas of grass, it's a little out of the ordinary.

Just like Lennon / McCartney's Penny Lane is a portal to his childhood memories, the lane this cache is hidden in leads you to great trails -- and caches -- beyond those wide open grassy fields. As Viajero Perdido writes in his Xyzzy cache description, a trail near that cache can "transport" you to the Waskahegan trail to the southeast. Penny Lane is meant to entice you out at least a little further that way. You'll need to do a little exploring on your own to get to Penny Lane; use the short connector trail starting at N 53° 21.292 W 112° 59.396.

For those new to the area, this is a place where you want to have your GPSr's track log turned on and make liberal use of waypoints along the way.

Have a great time hiking in the area and finding some great caches at the same time.
