SK:Takmer pol tisícrocia hrad patril rodine
Pálfiovcov. Ked po druhej svetovej vojne emigroval
posledný Pálfi, starostlivost o túto
kultúrnu pamiatku prevzal štát. Spociatku sa
pracovalo bez riadneho plánu, potom zacali so systematickou
rekonštrukciou moravské firmy a napokon opravy
dotiahol žilinský Pamiatkostav do stavu, ked v r. 1990
bolo možné hrad ciastocne sprístupnit pre
verejnost. K najvýznamnejším pocinom
Žilincanov patrí kompletizácia medenej
strešnej krytiny hradného paláca a dostavba
kamenného mosta na mieste bývalého padacieho.
Aj tak sme však za minulého režimu
žartovali, že rekonštrukcia trvá ovela
dlhšie ako kedysi výstavba.
Po nežnej revolúcii sa konalo výberové
konanie na dalšie práce a v nom zvítazila
polská firma P. R. Z. w Krakowie. Odvtedy sa postupne
sprístupnujú dalšie objekty, napríklad
záhrada francúzskeho typu, obrazáren v
bývalej jazdiarni a v r. 2009 aj kompletná
hradná priekopa s možnostou úplne obíst
hrad zospodu. Plánuje sa aj úprava anglického
parku v okolí rozsiahleho, už neplateného
parkoviska. Aj Slovenská národná
galéria by rada využila obrovské miestnosti
hradu ako depozitár. Pravda ak ministerstvo kultúry
bude schopné nadalej investovat ako doteraz.
Práve sprístupnenie priestorov bezprostredne pod
hradným palácom inšpirovalo vznik tejto
kešky. Do oblasti sa dá dostat dvoma cestami.

EN: Almost a half millennium the castle belonged to the
Pálfi family. When the last owner of this name left after WW
II, the state began to keep the cultural monument. In the first
years the works were performed without complex planning, later
Moravian enterprises started systematic reconstruction and finally
the Pamiatkostav from the city of Žilina pushed the process in
a phase, when it was possible to make the castle at least partially
accessible to the public in 1990 y. Among the most important
achievements of Pamiatkostav are the complete copper roof of the
palace and building of the stone bridge in place of former
drawbridge. Nevertheless during the former regime we joked that the
reconstruction lasts far more than the building of the castle
itself.
After the velvet revolution a public tender on further works was
held and polish enterprise P. R. Z. from Krakow won it. Since then
further objects are made open to the public, e. g. the French
– type garden, a gallery in former hippodrome and in 2009 the
complete moat with the possibility to go around the castle bellow
it. The English park close to the car-parking (now free of charge)
should be also repaired. Slovak National Gallery would like to
exploit the huge rooms of the castle as a depository, too. All that
provided the Ministry of Culture will be able to continue with
financing as it has been up to present day.
Namely making the area immediately bellow the palace open to
public inspired the creation of this cache. It can be reached in
two ways.
Please do not take the castle walls to
pieces.

Umiestenenie skrýše je takmer vždy
prístupné bez poplatkov. Vstupné býva
jednak v dnoch kedy sú na hrade organizované
rozsiahle akcie a hlavne v letnom období: 1. júl -
31. august, momentálne 0,5 Eu dospelý a 0,2 Eu dieta.
Hrad je historickou a kultúrnou pamiatkou, po
rekoštrukcii. Prosíme aby ste na to brali pri svojich
návštevách a hladaní zretel
The cache location is regularly accessible free of charge. Some
mere fee is possible in days, when large actions are organized on
the castle and in high summer: 1. July - 31. August, at the moment
0.5 Eu / adult, 0,2 Eu / child. The castle is a historical and
cultural monument after reconstruction. Please take this into
account during your visit and search.
