Geocache Description:

I was planning on attending the Tri-State Treasures Event - I was dressed, my backpack was ready, camelback was full, gps was loaded and I was meeting my friend early to do some caching in the area before the event.

Didn't quite happen that way! Instead I was detoured to this location! I had a minor injury (or so I thought) from the night before and decided to stop here for a quick check since my hand and wrist were now three times the normal size and I noticed a red streak going up my arm and I knew that couldn't be good. Apparently the red streak signifies infection - dangerous infection. I was immediately admitted to the hospital even though I tried to explain I had an event to get to - but they were not letting me go! I tried to plan an escape route until the doctor told me my hand would be cut open if I leave without treatment. Kinda thought it would make biking/hiking/kayaking/geocaching a bit difficult to do since I am not a lefty to begin with so I decided I should stay and get better. Very sad! So all my friends got to play and I didn't! :-( I was bored to tears - too bad nobody hid any cache inside the hospital! They finally let me go home the next day.

I decided to come back and hide a cache! Can't believe there wasn't one here already!

Log only - BYOP! May be able to squeeze a coin.

Hope I make it to the event next year!
