CZ: Opusteny lom
nabizi v soucasne dobe nejlepsi odkryv piskovcoveho vyvoje
chlebovickych vrstev tesinsko-hradistskeho souvrstvi s dobre
vyvinutymi texturami turbiditu. Lom ma vyznam jako typova lokalita
piskovcu chlebovickeho typu a dale jako vyukova lokalita pro
studium turbiditu. Lokalita je zarazena i na trasy
exkurzi.
Turbidit je sled usazenych
hornin.
Turbiditni geologicke formace maji svuj puvod v proudech
sedimentu, sledy sedimentu opakovane se ukladajicich formou
podvodnich lavin, ktere jsou odpovedne za distribuci velkeho
mnozstvi ulomkovitych usazenin v oceanu.
Úkoly / Podminka pro
uznani Vaseho logu
1. Pridej do logu
fotografii s ukazkou turbiditu z mistniho opusteneho lomu.
2. Odesli nam
cestou emailu pres profil GC alespon dve odpovedi na nize polozene
otazky.
a) Jaky sklon maji kontinentalni svahy (upati) a
kolik kilometru mohou byt siroke?
b) Kdo v geologii prvni podrobne popsal
turbidity?
c) Co je flyš a z ceho se nejcasteji
sklada?
Lom je dlouhodobe
opusteny a proto necekejte uchvatnou prirodni scenerii, ma vsak
velky geologicky vyznam.
EN: Abandoned quarry with outcrops of
the Chlebovice Beds of the Tešín-Hradište Formation
of the Baška Development of the Silesian Unit. Chlebovice
Beds are in sandstone developmnent. Typical flysch sequence with
Bouma sequences.
Turbidite is a sequence of
mineral sediment.
Turbidite geological formations have their origins in turbidity
current deposits, which are deposits from a form of underwater
avalanche that are responsible for distributing vast amounts of
clastic sediment into the deep ocean.
Tasks / Condition of recognition of the log
1. Add a log to a photo with turbidite example from a local
abandoned quarry
2. Send us through email via GC profile of at least two answers to
the questions below.
a) What tends to have continental slope and how
many kilometers can be broad?
b) Who in the geology of the first to detail the
turbidite?
c) What is Flysch and what is most often
composed?
Quarry is a long-abandoned and therefore do not expect
breathtaking natural scenery has great geological
importance.
