Peruskätkö Koivuniemen Herran Muumaan luontopolun varrella.
A basic cache on the nature trail of Koivuniemen Herran Muumaa.
Alueen omistaa Koivuniemen tila, joiden luvalla kätkö on paikalleen laitettu. Alueella louhikkoa ja kesäisin käärmeitä.
Kevät- ja syyskausina Muumaa järjestää leirikouluja, jotka pidetään osittain myös alueella jonka ympärillä luontopolku kulkee. Ethän häiritse heitä, jos heitä alueella sattuu olemaan. Kesäkuukausina Muumaa on auki, mutta kätkön voi hakea ilman pääsymaksua.
Parkkipaikka on luontopolun alkupäässä, Koivuniemen tilan luvalla. Ethän estä roskisten tyhjentämistä pysäköimällä niiden eteen.
Koko lenkki on n. 1 km, kätkö sijaitsee lenkin puolivälissä ja kierrokseen menee noin tunti maaston haastavuudesta johtuen.
Lenkki kannattaa kiertää vastapäivään, koska matkan varrelle on laitettu siniseksi maalattuja puukiekkoja reittimerkeiksi, ja ne näkyvät vastapäivään kiertäen paremmin (kuvat).
Kätköstä n. 50 m itään ja kaakkoon on kaksi näkemisen arvoista louhikkoa. Toisen sisällekin voi kiivetä ja tunneleita on useampia. Omalla vastuulla, kumminkin.

Jos satutte törmäämään alueella muihin, niin kertokaa reilusti keitä olette ja millä asialla. Tilan isäntä ja emäntä ovat kiinnostuneita geokätköilystä ja tietoisia kätköstä.

A basic cache at a nature trail on the lands of Koivuniemen Herran Muumaa, a petting zoo of heritage Finnish farm animals. The terrain is quite challenging, and therefore not recommended for small children or the handicapped. No purchase of entry tickets is required, for the cache is located outside the farm, which is open during the summer.
During spring and autumn there are numerous schoolgroups in the area, please do not disturb them while searching the cache.
Do NOT park in front of the dumpster.
The whole trail is about 1km in length, and will take about an hour to go around, due to the terrain. The nature trail is recommended to go around counter-clockwise, so the blue wooden markers (photo) are easier to spot.
There are two boulder-areas about 50 m east and southeast of the cache, which are worth a visit. Numerous climbing opportunities and tunnels can be found.
EXTREMELY SLIPPERY WHEN WET; CAUTION!!!
If you run into people while on the trail, and if they ask who you are and what are you doing, please tell them what you are doing and why you are there. The owners of the farm (Mr. and Mrs. Koivuniemi) are interested about Geocaching, and they are aware of the cache.
