La pelouse calcaire de la bosse, située au-dessus du village de Chameroy, en bordure de la route en direction de Voisines, occupe la rupture de versant d'une côte raide impropre à la culture, ce qui a permis son maintien. Sa végétation est très typique du plateau de Langres et renferme l'anémone pulsatille, la gentiane d'Allemagne, la campanule à feuille ronde, l'ophrys bourdon et le genévrier commun. L'entomofaune y présente la mante religieuse, l'alouette lulu, des araignées telles l'agélène ou l'argiope frelon et des papillons comme le zygène et le demi-deuil. Ce site est représentatif de nombreux sites analogues du plateau de Langres.

The lawn limestone of the bump, situated over the village of Chameroy, in border of the road in the direction of Voisines, occupies the break of hillside of a stiff coast unfit for the culture, what allowed its preservation. Its vegetation is very typical of the plateau de Langres and contains the pulsatille anemone, the gentian of Germany, the bellflower with round sheet, the ophrys bumblebee and the common juniper. The fauna presents it the mantis-nun, the lark lulu, spiders some the agélène or the argiope hornet and butterflies as zygène and half-mourning. This site is representative of numerous similar sites of the plateau de Langres.
