This spruce tree is one of the tallest in Norway. I have heard about 42 m. Some years ago the top was broken a little bit. Later on someone have tried to cut it down without success.
For comming to the cache, start 12-15 m from the west side of Goliat. In this place it's easiest to come to the cache.
Now in October 2010 the Goliat tree is gone. Because somebody had tried to "kill the tree" some years ago it was cut down this month.
