Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Lily Point Reserve, alongside a trail on a high cliff with a view of the water. Not on cliff side of the trail. Replaced with new container on 12/27 and moved from closed portion of trail.

Cache placed in honor of the life of George Ketteridge, who passed
on from this world on Memorial Day 2009.

George passed away on May 25, 2009. He served in the US Coast Guard and was involved in combat during WWII, including the D-day invasion. He was a self-educated pipe fitting engineer who loved math and had the ability to hand draw a perfect blue print (a lost art). He lived out most of his later years on Long Island, NY and is survived by his wife, five children and numerous grand and
great-grand children who will miss him.
