Geocache Description:

An easy cache on the shoreline of a great snorkeling location on the resort island of Perhentian Kecil (the small island). It is named in honour of the little Turtle in Finding Nemo. We were thrilled to find Squirt happily frolicking in the warm sunny water & nibbling on corals while snorkeling at this beach.

The cache site a five minute walk from The Shari La Island Resort which is on the Northern end of Coral Bay. A small amount of easy 'rock hopping' is required. If you are not staying at Coral Bay, water taxis will get you there easily from anywhere in the Perhentians. Alternatively, Coral Bay can be accessed by a pleasant 10 min walk along a jungle track from Long Beach. Coral Bay is a beautiful and relatively quiet little beach where you can enjoy watching the sunset over the ocean from one of the several beach cafes. To get to the cache from The Shari La resort follow the signs to Romantic & Golden Sands Beaches, then follow the shoreline to the cache co-ordinates. Please take care to leave the cache well concealed to prevent it being muggled. We highly recommend that you bring your snorkel gear as this is a great spot for finding not only Squirt but other cast members, including Nemo, Marlin, Coral, Dory, Bubbles,& Peach. We found most of them. One cast member that you thankfully won't meet here is Bruce the white pointer, but we were lucky enough to spot his shy & harmless little cousin a black tipped reef shark.
