The church is situated at the Cranleigh end of the village, on
leaving the villiage you will pass two village pubs, climbing a
small hill, and on reaching the brow of the hill, you will see the
church on the left. Take care, opposite the church is a small car
park. Park here, but do not attempt this when the church is in use,
there is only space for about 12 cars.
This small parish church dates from 1863. Shamley Green is a
small but pretty village, and you will often find things going on
there, with two pubs and a shop you can take refreshments here.
This village was also home to the late Tony Hart, (Take
Hart).
The cache is a Micro, and includes a pencil, please hide and
replace where found.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would
just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can
keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid
duplication.
