CISTERCIÁCKÝ KLÁŠTER VE VYŠŠÍM BRODĚ

Cisterciácký klášter ve Vyšším Brodě patří mezi nejkrásnější a nejautentičtěji dochované kláštery v českých zemích. Byl založen v roce 1259 Rožmberky a jeho stavba trva 100 let. Jedná se o jediný fungující mužský cisterciácký klášter v České republice, avšak už dávno není určen jen pro mnichy žijící podle řehole sv. Benedikta. Pro návštěvníky je přístupný klášterní kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie, mnišský chór, hlavní oltář, kaple a filosofický či teologický sál. Klášter svým návštěvníkům nabízí i prohlídky, jež zahrnují klášterní kostel, mnišský chór, hlavní oltář, kapli sv. Benedikta, kapli sv. Bernarda, kapli Panny Marie, galerii soch, obrazovou galerii či knihovní chodbu. Nejcennějšími památkami jsou Vyšebrodská madona a Závišův kříž. V části kláštera se nachází i poštovní muzeum.

Něco o keši samotné:

Ukol teto klasicke multikese je jednoduchy. Musite projit celkem 5 stanovist, na kterych nasbirate potrebne informace k nalezeni finalni kese. Sve putovani nejlepe zacnete na parkovistich (viz.Additional waypoints), kde muzete take zanechat sve geovozidlo. Prejdete silnici a pokracujte po ceste vedouci k hlavnimu vchodu do klastera. Zde vytahnete svuj GPS pristroj a hledani muze zacit.

POZOR!!! Informace pro ziskani finalnich souradnic jsou dostupne jen tehdy, jsou-li brany klastera otevreny. To je zpravidla kazdy den od 9:00 do 21:00!!

Stanoviste 1 - N 48°37.260' E 014°18.361'
Nyni stojite pred nove opravenou administrativni budovou klastera. Nalevo od vrat se nachazi mala cervena cedulka s trojcifernym cislem. Ciferny soucet techto tri cislic si poznamenejte jako A.

Stanoviste 2 - N 48°37.251' E 014°18.380'
Nachazite se pred vstupem do kostela. Po prave strane je mensi vezicka, na ktere je z kamene vytesany erb. Spocitejte ciferny soucet cislic na tomto erbu a vysledek si poznamenejte jako cislo B.

Stanoviste 3 - N 48°37.258' E 014°18.448'
Ted se prave nachazite u kasny na nadvori klastera. Na vrcholu teto krasne kasny stoji socha sv.Leopolda, zakladatele klastera, ktery drzi ve sve ruce miniaturu klastera. Sectete-li pocet orlic na jeho stitu a pocet chrlicu na kasne deleny dvema dostanete cislo C.

Stanoviste 4 - N 48°37.255' E 014°18.495'
Stojite pred ceduli s informacemi o Postovnim muzeu. Za touto ceduli se nachazi zed klastera, ze ktere trci nekolik velkych ocelovych sroubu. Pocet sroubu couhajicich ze zdi si poznamenejte jako D.

Stanoviste 5 - N 48°37.197' E 014°18.530'
Vase posledni zastavka je u zdi klasterni zahrady. U teto zdi se z vnejsi strany nachazi zulovy patnik zapusteny do chodniku. Na tomto patniku je vytesano desetinne cislo. Dvojciferne cislo pred desetinou teckou si poznacte jako E.

Finalni kes
V tuto chvili mate vse potrebne k nalezeni finalni kese. Muzete se zajit posadit do prijemnoho prostredi klasterni zahrady a v klidu si vypocitat finalni souradnice. Ty ziskate dosazenim cisel A,B,C,D a E do nasledujici rovnice:

CISTERCIAN MONASTERY IN VYŠŠÍ BROD

The Cistercian Monastery in Vyšší Brod is one of the most beautiful and most authentic monastery in the Czech lands. It was founded in 1259 by Rosenbergs and its construction lasts 100 years. It is the only functioning male Cistercian monastery in the Czech Republic, but it has long been designed not only for monks living under the Order of St. Benedict. For visitors there is the monastery church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the monastery choir, the main altar, the chapel and the philosophical or theological hall. The monastery offers its visitors also tours, which include the monastery church, the monastery choir, the main altar, the chapel of St. Benedict, Chapel of St. Bernard, the Chapel of Our Lady, a gallery of statues, a picture gallery, or a library corridor. The most valuable monuments are Madonna of Vyšší Brod and Cross of Zíviš. In the part of the monastery there is a postal museum.

Some important facts about the cache:

The task of this multi-cache is simple. You have to visit 5 places and find all the necessary data to count the coordinates of the final-cache. The best place for start is one of the parking places (see Additional waypoints), where you can also park your geocar. Then cross the road and go further to the main entry in to the monastery. Here you can switch on your GPS and start your search.

Warning!!! You can get all the important data only when the monastery areal is open. It is usually daily 9-21 (9am-9pm).

Now you stand in front of the administrative building of the monastery. On the left side off the entrance there is small red schedule with three figure number. If you add together all three numbers, you get number A.

You stand in front of the main entrance to the church. On the right side you can see small turret with stone coat-of-arms statued in it. Add together all the numbers you can find on it – this is the way how to get number B.

Stage 3 - N 48°37.258' E 014°18.448'
Now you stand at the fountain at the courtyard of the monastery. On the top of the fountain stands the statue Leopold, founder of the monastery, holding the miniature of the monastery in hand. If you add together the count of eagles on his coat-of-arms and the count of gargoyles divided two you become number C.

You stand just in front of the schedule with information about The Post Museum. Behind this schedule you can see the wall of monastery with some big steel screws. The count of the screws mark as number D.

Your last stop is at the wall of monastery garden. Close to the wall right on the pavement you can find small guard stone with graven decimal number on it. Mark the double figure number ahead decimal point as number E.
