Geocache Description:

The castle vestige was renovated as the Toyama Castle Park, a place to relax.
The castle tower was reconstructed after the Second World War and is utilized as Toyama local history museum that exhibits historical objects relating to Toyama-han.
The park has another museum; the Sato memorial museum exhibits the collection of the antique art object.

富山城は江戸時代には富山前田家の居城として、富山藩政の中心でした。
この城跡が「富山城址公園」として整備され、市民の憩いの場となっています。
また、戦後に建設された天守閣内（郷土博物館）では、４００年以上にわたる富山城の歴史を紹介しています。
園内には、東洋の古美術を中心に展示する佐藤記念美術館もあります。
