Geocache Description:

This is a short two stage multi.

The first stage is a dog tag at elevation of 1064 feet above sea level at Lake Lanier.
Full pool of Lake Lanier is 1071 feet above sea level. So depending on the lake level you may have to dive down 7 feet to locate stage one.

You can go to this WEB site to see what the current lake level is so you will know ahead of time how far under water stage one is: water.sam.usace.army.mil/acfframe.htm

Stage one is anchored in place and cannot be removed. Please do not try to remove it.

You will need a boat or a canoe to get to this cache. Tidwell Park is the closest public ramp to the cache.

You may want a snorkel mask, and depending on the time of year a wet suit might not be a bad idea either.

Stage two is an ammo box hidden not too far away on one of the islands. There is no need to move your watercraft to get to stage 2 from stage 1.

There are usually a lot of boaters hanging out in this area, and I am usually one of them. So don't be shy if we are there.

I left an unactivated pirate geocoin for the FTF prize.
Congrats to .ichydr on the FTF!!!
