Geocache Description:

[FIN] Helppo peruskätkö suositun ulkoilureitin kääntöpaikalla.

[EN] An easy basic cache by the turnaround of a popular walking trail.

[FIN] Isomäen metsä on noin 300 hehtaarin suuruinen virkistysalue lähellä Porin keskustaa. Alueella on lukuisia lenkkipolkuja, omat reittinsä ratsastajille ja talvella valaistuja latuja. Urheilukeskuksen takaa lähtee myös suosittu reitti Katinkuruun, jossa lenkkeilijät voivat käydä jättämässä todisteen aktiivisuudestaan johonkin eri yritysten ja yhdistysten yli 240:stä kuntovihkosta.

Myös geokätköilijöillä on lenkin kääntöpaikalla oma ”postilaatikkonsa” - harrastuksen luonteen mukaisesti tosin muiden katseilta piilossa. Jätä siis geokulkuvälineesi maauimalan parkkipaikalle ja lähde kuntolenkille Katinkuruun! Matkaa sinne ja takaisin kertyy yhteensä 6-7 kilometriä. Toki voit myös jättää ulkoilun vähemmälle ja ajaa suoraan ampumaradan parkkipaikalle kätkön välittömään läheisyyteen.

Kätköpurkissa on kierrekansi. Kätkössä ei ole vaihtotavaraa.

[EN] Isomäki woods is about 300 hectare large recreation area near to the centre of Pori. There are several footpaths and bridle paths in the area and also alight ski tracks in the winter time. Behind the sports centre begins a popular route to Katinkuru where visitors can leave a mark of their activity to some of over 240 notebooks that companies and associations provide to encourage their members to exercise.

Also geocachers have their own notebook placed among the letterboxes in Katinkuru turnaround. Naturally due to the nature of the hobby this letterbox is hidden from the watchful eyes of the outsiders. So leave your vehicle to the car park in front of the outdoor swimming centre and head to Katinkuru! It takes 6-7 kilometers of walking to get there and back. Of course you can minimize the amount of exercise and drive straight to the car park of Katinkuru shooting range which is in the vicinity of this cache.

There is a screw cap in the jar. There are no items for trade in the cache.
