You are looking for a plastic coffee container, painted to blend in. It is filled with the usual swag and log.
The house across the road from this cache location, now known as the Everett's Mill Hunting and Fishing Club has an interesting footnote to its history. According to the book "The Architectural History of Richmond County North Carolina" (J. Daniel Pezzoni, editor, 2008 Donning Company Publishers):
"The celebrated cook, Aunt Jemima, born Annie Short in 1900, is said to have lived on the property from age nine until she was married at age twenty-three"
A little bit more about the house and lake from the same book:
Everett's lake was created in 1792 when Henry W. Harrington Sr. erected a dam and gristmill on Mark's Creek. In 1910, Rockingham dry goods merchant E. I. Everett acquired property on the north side of the lake and constructed a large house for his retirement. The Everett family operated the house as the Carolina Country Club, described in a ca. 1940 Rockingham promotional booklet as a "fisherman's paradice" with "comfortable rooms, delicious food, and an ideal location." The lake was stocked with game fish for the visiting anglers, and swimming and boating were accomodated.
